The Teaching Support Centre recognizes that assessing student learning is a critical part of an instructor’s role. To support effective assessment, the centre is offering to full- and part-time faculty this third installment of the 2012-13 Assessment Series – Assessing Student Learning Online: A Panel Discussion at 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, March 25 in the Teaching Support Centre, Weldon Library, room 121.

Panelists include John Barnett, Faculty of Education; Kim Holland, Department of Geography and the Teaching Support Centre; Suzanne Kearns, Commercial Aviation Management, DAN Management and Organizational Studies; and Sarah McLean, Bachelor of Medical Sciences Program, BMSUE educator/e-learning coordinator.
Invited panelists will address topics such as how they assess student learning online, advantages/disadvantages of different online assessments and students’ reactions to online assessment.
