Discovery Western recently celebrated 25 years of sharing the fun and interesting sides of science, engineering and technology. As a not-for-profit organization run by Western Engineering and staffed by students, Discovery Western offers hands-on engineering and technology programs to youth in the local community, including classroom workshops, PD Day camps, Saturday clubs and programming just for girls.
In July and August, Discovery Western offers a summer day camp for children entering Grades 2-8, where more than 120 campers interact each week through experiments, design projects and outdoor activities.
