Cooler temperatures combined with improved weather and a reduction in run-off has helped to decrease water levels and improved flood conditions on the campus of The University of Western Ontario.
Water levels decreased by about ten inches overnight Thursday and early Friday morning.
Parking lot closures at the Medway and Talbot lots, and part of the Chemistry lot, continue today but as waters recede further and conditions become safe, parking lots will be opened again.
Campus Community Police Service and Western Physical Plant staff will continue to monitor conditions in the coming days and any new information will be posted on Western’s home page.
