Expert on the psychology of humour, Rod Martin, will share insight into the power of laughter today as part of the Classes without Quizzes lecture series.
Classes without Quizzes is a complimentary lecture series for the community presented by The University of Western Ontario. Join the topical and entertaining monthly lectures by some of Western’s leading faculty, each taking place at different London locations through to spring 2010.
Martin, psychology professor, will talk about what can science tell us about the nature and effects of humour and laughter, and share recent research findings on the role of humour and laughter in personal relationships and in mental and physical health.
The lecture takes place Tuesday, Dec.15 at the Landon Branch of the London Public Library, 167 Wortley Road, London. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the class beginning at 7 p.m.
