Gil Adamson and Marina Endicott will visit the Forest City this week as the award-winning authors are set to participate in the 2010 season-ending London Reads “book club” event.
Adamson and Endicott will discuss and read from their books, “The Outlander” and “Good to a Fault” respectively, on Friday, April 30 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the London Public Library Central Branch, Wolf Performance Hall, 251 Dundas Street.
All six celebrity panellists will also participate in the program. Gitta Kulczycki, Vice-President (Resources & Operations); Jonathan Vance, Professor, Faculty of Social Science and Penn Kemp, Writer-in-Residence will represent Western while Kevin Switzer, Chair London Chamber of Commerce; Jane Roy, Assistant Director of London Food Bank and Bob Smith, First Local News Anchor, Rogers Cable TV serve as community ambassadors.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students. All proceeds from this event benefit the A Book For Every Child® initiative.
Presented by Alumni Western, London Reads was originally launched as Western Reads, part of The University of Western Ontario’s 125th anniversary celebrations in 2003.
