Piano concert postponed
An April 16 piano concert at the Don Wright Faculty of Music,
planned to honour the legacy of Margaret Parsons and Clifford
Poole, has been postponed.
Banquet celebrates high flying students
The Commercial Aviation Management student council will be
honouring the graduating class and scholarship winners on Saturday
at its annual banquet, featuring Wendy Tadros, Chair of the
Transportation Safety Board of Canada as guest speaker.
Sutton to receive award for excellence in teaching
Jennifer Sutton, Assistant Professor of Psychology, is the 2010
recipient of the Brescia University College Award for Excellence in
Teaching. The award will be presented at Convocation on June 14.
High school students compete for free tuition
Fifty-six female students from Ontario high schools are registered
to compete for one year’s free tuition at Brescia University
College in the Take the Lead public speaking contest to be held at
Brescia on Saturday, April 10.

Engineering diversity remains work in progress
Significant strides have been made in attracting women to
engineering, however improvement has stalled and women remain
underrepresented in the profession, says the president of the
Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
Studying around the clock made easier
Students wanting to study around the clock for final exams now have
a place other than the University Community Centre to do it.
