Western will play host a group of African ambassadors and university professors next week, where international collaboration agreements will be signed.
A follow-up to a similar visit in March, areas for collaboration with Moi University, Kenyatta University , University of Nairobi and the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, include water quality and solid waste management, information communication technology, and climate change and disaster management.
At Western for the four-day (July 26-30) visit include University of Nairobi professor George Magoha, Moi University profession Richard Mibey, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology professor B.C.C Wangila, Kenyatta University professor Olive Mugenda, the Kenya High Commissioner Ambassador Simon Nabukwesi and the second Secretary in the High Commission Salome Kagosha.
In addition to the core areas of collaboration, discussions will be held in the areas of engineering, dentistry, biodiversity and bioinformatics.
