Retired Faculty of Science staff member Kenneth Asquith died Dec. 7
at the age of 89.

Earth Sciences staff member Tracy Burk died Dec. 13 following six
months of service at the university.

To the relief of London Transit users, including thousands of
Western students, faculty and staff, a contract was struck with the
union on Dec. 14, ending a 29-day strike.

Dr. John Brown, of the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences
