Botanical drawings of fungi illustrate the natural marriage between art and science, and those who attended the one-day Mushroom Festival on March 17 at The Bookcase in the John Labatt Visual Art Centre experienced how the various flavours of mycology come together. The unique event featured artwork, mushroom treats, music and a presentation by fungi expert and Biology professor R. Greg Thorn. The event was organized by Visual Arts professor Kirsty Robertson.
