At risk youth in the London community will be the centre of attention this weekend as The University of Western Ontario’s Early Outreach Committee is organizing its annual Choose Your Own Adventure May 6-8.
The All Science Challenge will hit the Western campus Thursday for a day-long science competition for nearly 200 Grade 6, 7 and 8 students from more than 15 London-area schools.

Many University of Western Ontario services will be closed for the
holiday period, Friday, Dec. 24-Sunday, Jan. 2. Classes will resume

The University of Western Ontario community is mourning the recent
death of Dr. Mahdi Al Darwish. Al Darwish, a research fellow in the
Clinical Investigator Program at Schulich School of Medicine &
Dentistry, fell ill and passed away while visiting his family for
the holidays in Saudi Arabia.

For the second time this month, The University of Western Ontario
closed its doors on Wednesday, Dec. 15 due to inclement weather.
The revised exam schedule for Sunday, Dec. 19 is now available for
students who had exams canceled as a result of Western’s Dec. 15
weather-related closure. The schedule can be accessed <a href=
here</a>. An important note is that previously scheduled 9 a.m.
exam start times will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19.
