New Nursing/FIMS building gets Board go-ahead

Western’s Board of Governors recently approved the construction of a new facility to house the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing and the Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS). This 12,100-square-metre (130,000-square-foot) building will be located on the southwest corner of Lambton and Huron drives (former home of the Services Building).

UWOFA honours work of students

Each year, the University of Western Ontario Faculty Association (UWOFA) awards scholarships to outstanding students from across all 11 faculties at the university. These awards are funded by UWOFA members, reflecting their commitment to students and to the university community. Winners were honoured at an event Monday in the Dr. David S.
