Province confirms operating support
The provincial government said Friday The University of Western
Ontario will receive $6.1 million in additional operating funding,
confirming the university’s portion of a $150-million pledge for
higher education as outlined in the 2009 provincial budget.
In Memoriam – Ivan (John) Jevnikar
Former University of Western Ontario Physical Plant staff member,
Ivan (John) Jevnikar, died April 23 at the age of 93. Jevnikar
retired in 1981 with 29 years of service.
