While the transit strike is now over, London Transit Commission is reporting there will be a four to five day delay before any transit service resumes.
In the meantime, Western plans to continue offering all transportation alternatives and support services to students throughout the exam period (until end of day Dec. 22).
LTC plans call for the gradual return to full and normal service, starting on Saturday, Dec. 19. The expectation is that Saturday and Sunday service will be as normally scheduled.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 21, a modified service will be provided consisting of approximately 85 buses which will be focused on mainline routes (e.g. Dundas, Richmond, Oxford E, Oxford W, Adelaide, Wellington, etc. ) ramping up to full weekday service by Jan. 4 (152 buses).
