Western’s Campus Community Police Service held its annual Unclaimed Found Property Sale on Tuesday at the University Community Centre, featuring everything from bicycles, iPods and jewelry, to watches, a clarinet and even a stainless steel BBQ utensil set. Campus police brought in $1,750, which will be used to support charitable causes in the community. In the past, money has been donated to such groups as the Red Cross (Fort McMurray), Western’s Syrian Refugee Relief Fund, London Food Bank, Canadian Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army Christmas Appeal and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
