Many University of Western Ontario services will be closed for the holiday period starting in the afternoon of Dec. 24 through Jan. 3. Classes will resume on Monday, Jan. 4, and academic and administrative offices will re-open the same day.
All Western Libraries will close between noon and 1 p.m. on Dec. 24 and most will remain closed until Jan. 4, with a few exceptions. For more specific details visit the Western Libraries website.
The University Community Centre will close at 1 p.m. on Dec. 24 and remain closed through Jan. 3. The building will re-open Jan. 4 at 6 a.m. and return to regular 24-hour operation.
The Western Student Recreation Centre will be closed Dec. 24 through Dec. 27, and again on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Visit campusrec.uwo.ca for specific recreational programming schedules during the holiday period.
The public skating schedule at the Thompson Recreation and Athletic Centre concludes on Dec. 23 and will resume on Jan. 4.
The Grad Club is closed Dec. 24 and will re-open Jan. 4 with regular hours.
The University Students’ Council Food Support Service, The Spoke and The Wave are closed until Jan. 4.
Western Film will re-open Jan. 4 with the screening of 2012.

Western News online will resume publishing on Jan. 4, with the first weekly paper to be issued on Jan. 7.
