Hosted by the Student Success Centre, Western students are invited to attended Western’s annual Job Fair from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, in the Western Student Recreation Centre, 4th floor gym. Nearly 60 organizations and more than 1,500 students are expected to attend.
“The Job Fair is an opportunity for students to speak with employers across various different industries and professions, and get a head start on the job search process,” said Kate Baker, employer relationship developer at The Student Success Centre. “Whether you are looking for new graduate, full-time, part-time, summer or internship and co-op roles, there is something for everyone.
“Making those initial connections is so important as it helps students identify the opportunities that are available to them, and the skills that employers are looking for.”
Students attending the fair can also receive free on-the-spot resume and cover letter feedback courtesy of Western’s Employment Resource Centre.
