Read.
I’m addicted to old English murder mysteries. At the moment, it’s Dorothy Sayers’ The Nine Tailors (1934), which combines a gripping story with flawless prose.
Watch.
Shaun of the Dead (2004). Endlessly entertaining, it proves that you can survive a zombie apocalypse, and even have a few laughs while doing it.
Listen.
Quadrophenia by The Who (1973). The finest of the rock opera genre, it’s a searing tale of youth disillusionment sent against the backdrop by Britain in the early 1960s.
